Chesley McNeil was always willing to push the envelope, whether it was with a risky prediction of the weather, or a tough question for visitors on the Daybreak show. This time though, he paid for the gamble with his life. McNeil attempted an early entry into the ice fishing season, and drowned when his ice house sank near the shores of Lake Erie, along route 5. It was a party at last night’s game in Orchard Park. Few incident’s were reported despite fans lining up 5 hours prior to kickoff to start tailgating. “We had 4 kegs and 3 bottles of Rum, but it’s all gone” said Garth Edwards of Hamilton, Ontario.

Q. Dear Caroline: Last spring, my next door neighbor asked to put up a fence to keep her dog in her yard. She’s a pleasant enough older woman, and it was of no consequence to us, so we said yes. I’m not sure who directed the installers where to put the fence, but it’s about 3 inches off our property line. Last week, when I was backing out of my driveway, I opened the door to make sure I was clear of the garbage cans and the fence got caught on the door, turning it inside out.
