You cannot simply change the calendar to "add" and extra day to the week. After Sunday it will be "Funday" for public schools and Monday for the rest of the world. Then by making the following day Monday, children will actually feel foolish to have no idea what the real day is when they think it's Thursday and the rest of world knows that it is Sunday.
