Local developer and restaurateur Rocco Termini has taken his battle to protect brick and mortar restaurants one step further. After publicly denouncing the City of Buffalo for allowing food trucks to operate on private property near his restaurant Dog é Style, the city real estate mogul pushed the city to adopt a wholesale ban on consuming food of any kind outside of his restaurants.
“I just don’t think it’s fair for people to be preparing and eating meals inside their own homes, when they have any number of my fine brick and mortar establishments to go to,” Termini explained, adding, “Did any of these schmucks come up with $15 wines? Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
At press time, Termini was seen attempting to force his way in to the home of a young family, carrying a plate of hot dogs and an admittedly delicious-yet-affordable bottle of pinot noir.
